The Cajun coaching staff has done a great job of bringing in some top notch transfers including Cooper Gerami (Northwestern), Lemarcus Gibson (Hawaii), Jelani Smith (Arkansas), possibly Hunter Ovens (Va Tech) and Benay Pryer who originally signed with LSU

You forgot Bernard Smith (West Virginia) as well as former Texas Tech commitment Aaron Spikes.

After the smoke clears---Lafayette is the greatest town in the South---I guess a kid would love to come here and stay-----Compare that to Monroe, Ruston, BR, or NO----A great place to live!!!!

There couldn't have been a better time to land him also. After sitting out a year, we will be inserting some talented but youthful guys at DT and he could fit right in and be extremely productive in filling that middle gap on run defense which we've never had. It will be very interesting to see what he does. To think what this D-Line would be like with Hagans, Brandon McCray, Bernard Smith and Houston Bates had he come also! Wow
