Thread: RPI game affecting the Cajuns ...

  1. UL Baseball RPI game affecting the Cajuns ...

TCU leads New Mexico 2-0 T7th. New Mexico is immediately behind the Cajuns in the Adjusted RPI (.5631 to .5610). A New Mexico win over TCU will result in the Lobos passing the Cajuns.

New Mexico is the only threat I see w/respect to passing the Cajuns in tomorrow's RPI. The Cajuns have an outside chance at passing Boston College (probably not, but maybe). I think there is a decent chance that the Cajuns pass Florida Gulf Coast.

Hey Brian what are the chances of us getting placed in fort worth regional. Got family that would make that trip to North Texas not so expensive. TCU looking like they are playing their way into a host site.

I am not Brian but my guess is we are either going to be sent to Auburn or TCU.

It is a possibility. It depends on how many #3 seeds are in the field in this region (Texas and probably Oklahoma will be hosting). Baylor will be one of the #3 seeds. Texas State could be another. Texas A&M is a #2 seed (they cannot go to Austin or Norman). Kansas State could come down to Fort Worth as a #3 seed.

You could see LSU as a #2 and UL as a #3 in Austin.

Rice has an outside chance at hosting. You could see LSU and the Cajuns here.

I would love to see UL and LSU in either Austin or Houston!

I would think Texas St. would be the 3 seed in Austin.

Just about to post the TCU win.

Louisville just scored 2 in the top of the 11th to go up 9-7.
