No. They both took their official visit. I'm pointing out that they're still committed.

CajunT... not that I will judge our recruiting class simply by looking at where we "rank"... but I couldn't help but notice that we continue to sit at 112 or thereabouts regardless of who and how many additional commitments we can't.
In your article entitile Committments Keep Rolling In for UL, you posted the following:
"Coahoma (Miss.) Community College defensive lineman Chris Tucker, Gautier (Miss.) High offensive lineman Daniel Gautier and Mesquite Horn (Texas) High receiver Josey Nwankwo also pledged to UL.
Tucker is rated one of Mississippi's top 25 junior college prospects by the Clarion-Ledger. The 6-2, 260-pounder tied for the MACJC/Region 23 lead and tied for ninth nationally with 11 sacks as a sophomore. As a prep player at West Bolivar (Miss.) High, he played in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game and Max Emfinger All-American Bowl. North Texas also made a run at Tucker before he committed to the Cajuns.
Quave is ranked among Mississippi's top 40 prep recruits by the Jackson, Miss., Clarion-Ledger and was part of the Mobile, Ala., Press-Register's Super 22 as a junior. The 6-4, 310-pounder was a first team Region 4-5A selection this season and recently played in the Bernard Blackwell All-Star Classic for Mississippi seniors."
I understand Tucker is the JC player from Mississippi and Gauthier is the HS lineman from Mississippi, but who is Quave? I saw that same name reported under Scout? Is that supposed to be Gauthier? Did Daniel Gauthier also go to a HS named Gauthier? What am I missing?
His name is Daniel Quave from Gautier, Miss.
Also, the name of the young man from Texas was wrong. Source and I weren't on the same page and missed that. His name is Boris Anyama from Stafford, Texas. Played at a Class 3A school as a quarterback and defensive back.
Now all of the information in this link is correct. I'm sorry about the mistakes. There was a time crunch because the story had to be finished before the Saints game, and I was unable to talk with said commitments before that deadline. Regardless, the mistakes were my fault.

Any update on the Feb 3rd festivities. I would assume that the university would host something in the indoor facility around 5:30 or 6pm like they have been doing the last few years.
CR, the problem with Scout or Rivals, is anytime a prospect commits to your program that has not been rated, your overall points remain the same regardless of the increase in numbers. Also, some athletes may not be ranked in the system because they either started only one year at a particular position or had a break out senior season, but were nothing special as a junior.
Blake Hollingsworth is a good athlete, but he is not polished at the QB position. His started his first two varsity years at DB and WR.
Quave was a solid prospect coming off a very good junior year, but gained too much weight and dropped in some coaching staff's evaluations. Quave camped at the Cajuns prospect camp last summer.
Marvin Martin is a guy that had a breakout season this year. He played with several other big guys at St.Amant, Ronald Grover and Abbas Laymoan last season. This year he played both ways and dominated in a good 5-5A district. No one had him on their list this year because he didn't play as much last season.
Non of these guys will show up as a three star or two star in either system.
