FootBall Signing Day TODAY (Come to the Party)

Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns will host a football signing day party to announce those prospects that have signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to join the Cajuns. The event is presented by Gulf Coast Bank.

National Signing Day is Wednesday, February 3 - the first official day prospects can sign a binding NLI. Any prior public commitment can't be made official until a NLI is signed. RaginCajuns.com will report all day on Wednesday as each NLI is officially returned to the athletic department.

Fans will be able to attend a free party on Wednesday at 5pm in the Leon Moncla Indoor Practice Facility. The athletic department will reveal the signing class and show video highlights of each prospect.

Complimentary food and beverages will be served to all fans. In addition to Gulf Coast Bank, other sponsors include; Baja Sports Grill, Acadiana Fun Jumps, Lafayette Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Schilling Distributing, Dwight Prudehomme, Legends and Coby Guidy's DJ Service.

The Ragin' Cajuns football team will host its' annual football banquet on Saturday, February 6 at the spacious Hilton Towers on Pinhook. Tickets for the banquet, which begins at 4 p.m., are $30 and available in the football office at the Cox Communications Athletic Center. Only cash or checks are accepted.

Nothing about that is mentioned in the e-mail advertising the event I got this afternoon. But that initself doesn't mean they won't have it, just that they didn't make mention of it.
