    Notables taken so far:

    Sun Belt:
    Tyler Townsend - FIU Jr 1B - Rd 3 Pk 85 BAL
    Wade Gaynor - WKU Jr 3B - Rd 3 Pk 89 DET

    In State (not that it affects us much, but interesting nonetheless):
    Tigs have had 4 picked by the 5th rd
    Tulane had 1
    Von Rosenberg was the first LA HS player picked. Rd 6 Pk 175 by PIT

    i saw Prince was taken in 3rd round. He left UT and considered UL before desciding to go to Tulane

    STM Colvin to phillys 7th round

    I think both Rosenberg and Colvin slid a bit because they are seriously considering the college route. Teams are a little less likely to take chances on a kid they might not ever see. Apparently Detroit was interested in Colvin with their second round pick but they didn't see eye to eye.

    McNeese's Jr catcher went Rd 8.

    Tulane's Loup picked Rd 9.

    Also a kid named Mario Richard that went to Prarie View and I guess went to HS in LA was picked Rd 9.

    Southern catcher just went to Red Sox in 12th.

    Greg Wilborn - Sr. P - Rd 18 Pk 547 - LAD

    Listed as a Sr, guess they (MLB site organizers) didnt look too in depth at 08 since it was a Medical Hardship year. Hopefully he'll come back and finish healing and increase his draft stock.
