I have seen DF pitch a couple of times this spring. He is literally unhittable in the mid to high 90's with an ERA way under 1. I'd buy some DF stock, if ETrade had any.

He is having a great start to the year as a closer:
REC 1-0
SV 7
ERA 0.56
G 16
IP 16.0
H 9
R 2
ER 1
BB 9
SO 23
AVG .161

Seems Danny knows how to pitch in AA too. He may need to go up another rung to get to his learning curve. Wish we would have kept him as a closer his Junior year.
Youngest pitcher on the team and only 1 other player is younger than him. He is definitely headed in the right direction.
Three promotions in a year. If he keep it up he'll be pitching on TV and staying at the Ritz-Carlton on the road next year.
Not to be a threadjack, but who else is playing minor league ball (affiliated or not) still besides Farquhar and the 3 listed below?
Laughter is in Frisco (AA) with a 4.13 ERA in 24 IP with a 2-1 record

Moody is in Lansing (A) with a 3.14 ERA in 14.1 IP with a great K/IP ratio

Lucroy is in Huntsville (AA) batting .231 but has been in a small slump. 2 HR, 41 RBI in 37 games

Thanks
Here's a fairly up to date list that includes some independent leagues

I saw CJ Blue on that list. I always wondered what he did after he left here, he was so promising as a freshman (I remember thinking that we were gonna be loaded with blue, and farquar in the same class and glass and moody a year in front of them). Apparently he's pitching for Oklahoma, has had a few starts and got his stuff together after he went play some JC ball after UL.
