He is a freak. He has 6 pitches at 3 different arm angles and throws 90+ from every angle. I watched him pitch Friday and was rusty, but that is expected from a guy with so much movement from so many different angles so early in the season. He is starting in AA this year but hopefully he can keep on track from last year and be in AAA mid summer.

Also former UL pitchers Jason Fernandez (Oakland) and Andrew Laughter (Rangers) finished in AA last year, Chad Beck (Toronto) High-A and all are playing this year and making noise on their way up in their teams systems. Lucroy will start in AA this year.

_ I saw CJ Blue on that list. I always wondered what he did after he left here, he was so promising as a freshman (I remember thinking that we were gonna be loaded with blue, and farquar in the same class and glass and moody a year in front of them). Apparently he's pitching for Oklahoma, has had a few starts and got his stuff together after he went play some JC ball after UL. _

CJ played for JUCO for 1 year (Grayson County Community College) and then finished his career at the University of Oklahoma.

Danny was supposedly going to be part of a deal that Toronto had to get Uggla from Florida. Instead, the Marlins dealt Uggla to the Braves.

He has been traded. Don't know for who, but to the Oakland A's. Will probably be more information on the transaction tomorrow. Was going to post a link to something, but it is not up on mlb transaction board yet. Definitely a good sign.

Apparently Toronto has sent Trystan Magnuson to Oakland. MLB Trade Rumors saying that at least one other minor leaguer going to A's. That player-to-be-named later must be Danny.
