Jay is actually Jay Fiedler, former Dolphins QB who's ownership group owns the EK Miners that Keathley coaches for.

I looks like Coach Keathley has developed a philosophy that is outside the box. I like the fact that his is academic about his system, which shows he would be a good teacher. If allowed to implement his system it could give the fans something to really look forward to next year. He probably looks at the UL job as an experiment on his system. I think Coach Keathley wants to see if his system will work at the college level with more athletic players and against better competition.

Maybe we can be the minor league/developmental team for all of the other NCAA D-1, D-2, NAIA, etc... programs.

And heres a video I foud on Keathley. Looks to be a few years old, but still a good overview of his Pre-East Kentucky career.

This guy looks like a real diamond in the rough! With the talent we have coming back next year, if they can pick up his offense, Lee and the gang might just be able to pull off a job saving turn around.

Well, the system worked for Arkansas in 1994 (National Champs). Also, Loyola-Marymount, a small school made the Final Four in 1990. Missouri in 2009! That system does have it's downsides, but it is RIDCULOUSLY exciting to watch. We have the player personnel that can adapt to that style of play pretty easily. Next year could actually be exciting at the dome.

We may be missing the type of point guard needed to run the fast paced offense that Coach Keathley seems to favor.

Yep. If they adapt this offensive philosophy, "the proud, the few" will be there. The wimps who have given up 6 months before the season starts will not.
