Trust me, my friend, Those were not the glory days of Cajun basketball.

I agree, Tony was probably the only real significant player ever from U(S)L.
Bo played a little in the NBA but was not much of a factor. Marvin Winkler before him played a little for Indianapolis in the old ABA.

Theres not much doubt that Toney was the most influential pro player from the school. Bo was likely the best player to ever play here.

If not for the false rumor about his heart, Dwayne Mitchell would probably be seeing significant playing time somewhere.

It is so hard to break into the NBA when you go undrafted.

Tiras Wade if he would of stayed one more year he might of get pick high in the draft. Lonnie Thomas, Anthony Johnson, Chris Manuel, David Dees, Antoine Landry,Reggie Poole & Kendall Regis, Michael Allen

One of the reasons I started this thread is because I really couldn't remember a lot of former USL/UL players in the league. Which is a bit surprising to me because USL/UL has fielded some good teams over the years with a lot of athleticism. Also, there are a lot of mid-major guys that have made an impact in the NBA throughout the years.

It wasn't just Shipley's best teams that were the glory days.

Pascal and Fletcher both had muti-year runs with better squads than Evans.
