However, I do agree he is our best arm, but does need to cut down on his walks. He is like the pitcher on Bull Durham and I quote "18 walks a new league rercord, 18 strikeouts also a new league record, hit the mascot twice also a new league record". _
Agreed. I think that he has been affectivly wild, and that maynot be what you want out ofa friday or saturday starter. Prefer having him on sunday because i konw he is as good as any #3 in this conference. Bottom line is thaat we need quality innings from everyone else leading up to Sunday. I'm just sick and tierd of being average.....time to turn this thing around!

Ideally, I'd prefer someone who didn't give up runs or walk people...but we may have to go with the person not giving up runs and walks people as oppossed to someone giving up a lot of runs? Just an observation whlie watching baseball games...tough to win if you give up 11.

I appreciate your opinion, but i must disagree. Even matching up with FIU's
best pitchers, we were very much in the game, So, with a strong pitcher
on the mound on Friday or Saturday, we have a better shot at two out of 3.
Remember, most teams pitch their 3 rd best on Sunday's, so we can throw
the whole bench on Sunday's and try to pull it out.. Wilborn deserves the ACE
    slot !
