Maybe moving Wilburn to Sat. could shake things up. But on the other hand, he is kinda our ace in the hole for sunday. Holla back let me know what ya think. Regardless, the bullpen needs to get it together.

whoaa. a good "head's up" question for me to ask coach babineaux today.. thanks.. got any other questions? (grins) anyone?
ps. babineaux on the sportsnote (monday's) around 2:15-ish
By backwards do you mean lose the first 2 games of the series and finish strong by winning the last?
Exactly, it is better than losing all 3. No need to bring him out of his comfort zone. We needem on Sunday.
However, I do agree he is our best arm, but does need to cut down on his walks. He is like the pitcher on Bull Durham and I quote "18 walks a new league rercord, 18 strikeouts also a new league record, hit the mascot twice also a new league record".
Now that I think about it, it shouldn't be a matter of moving Wilburn, but having other people step up. Someone needs to before its to late. I'd like to see bulliard again. Last time he came in he threw that wild pitch in the bottom of the ninth with bases loaded against Ark. St. (We lost because of it) But he looked really impressive against Neb.
Billy... this one is about pitching. Builliard (if I spelled it correctly) had some fairly decent outings last year and i was expecting some good things from him this year. But I believe we've only used him once. What's the story on him?
Also... some of our young pitchers. Dayton Marz (a red-shirt freshman) was used once and had a bad outing, but we've not seen him since. Why?
thanks, Bill. Enjoy your show!
Hey Billy, ask Coach Babineaux if we're keeping Broussard on as our weekday starter of if we'll maybe see Cook starting this week?
Agreed. I think that he has been affectivly wild, and that maynot be what you want out ofa friday or saturday starter. Prefer having him on sunday because i konw he is as good as any #3 in this conference. Bottom line is thaat we need quality innings from everyone else leading up to Sunday. I'm just sick and tierd of being average.....time to turn this thing around!
Ideally, I'd prefer someone who didn't give up runs or walk people...but we may have to go with the person not giving up runs and walks people as oppossed to someone giving up a lot of runs? Just an observation whlie watching baseball games...tough to win if you give up 11.
