    This map below is the reality of why the PAC teams moved east. No relevant audience exists after 11 PM EST. Texas Tech is the western most CST program.

    Our CFO is still not sold on UL being R1. I’m not sure he knows what R1 means and how it has impacted us. I think he wants us to be like UNO. Maybe under LSU??
    I don't know what's going on inside the head of our CFO, but I know that he was brought in for one specific reason: to balance our budget. R1 is obviously a great goal, but not if maintaining that status makes the university insolvent.

    With that said, our new interim president (and likely future president) was the man who was most responsible for getting us to R1. He will be fighting harder than anyone to stay R1.
