Not worth a new thread…last week, CBS Sports had the Cajuns at 21 in the bottom 25. This week, got the Cajuns moving up 1 to 22….AND down 1 to 20. Clowns…🤡🤡🤡

JMO. But winning in the Sun Belt and its schedule does not inspire fans to attend. And if they do attend, the game day experience is mediocre at best. Winning alone does not generate excitement. Our product does not sell and none of that is ever addressed by the athletic department. It is simply put on a game and hope people show up. And, if they do, they may not return because of the in-game experience. We should easily avg. 30,000 fans a game, instead we struggle to get 15,000 - 20,000, then lose them following a loss. We should be like E. Carolina with a 50,000 seat stadium and avg. attendance over 40,000 even without significant winning seasons and with 4 other P2 schools in their state, UNC, NCSU, WKU and Duke. Hard to imagine doing that in the SBC, although App State and JMU seem to find success with it. Maybe with the right leadership we can.

A. Assumes that all other expenditures other than what is spent on cajuns, is not wasteful
B. If any other spending were to be wasteful. I doubt there is buy in on how those entities are run

To be clear, I'm not trying to be critical. To date we have seen nothing work to get us averaging this amount of fans so I'm not sure what could even be done anymore. There are pockets of comparable schools to us that do so but there is a reason that this is an anomaly and not repeated elsewhere.

I could give a F’n dissertation on how we can average 30k or close to it. Give me 1 year to implement the plan and by year three we would lead the SBC in attendance.
