There is always an excuse for when things go wrong, it does not change reality. UL does not play in a vacuum, every other team suffers the same issues but somehow they manage to be successful. People need to stop BS’ing themselves thinking we are special, we’re not. Has the AD ever contacted the marketing/buisness/communication departments to see if projects can be made into the curriculum to aid the football program? It’s time to think out of the box and utilize unknown assets. It would be something fresh and cheap. It cannot be any worse than the crap we have now and going to $97k in funds.
Sounds like concessions are better... havent seen any complaints about that
I think it's more about the new transfer portal rules and NIL. People can see the writing on the wall, and schools like UL are simply not going to be allowed to ever grow our programs to a point where we could actually be competitive with the P2 schools. Like George Carlin said long ago, it's one big club and we aren't in it.
