I'm not saying that the way they did it wasn't expensive, but I suspect they moved all kinds of expenses on the back of the network just to clean some books.
The truth is it was no longer worth it after a move to the SEC.
I wouldn't doubt that shutting it down was a prerequisite for getting an SEC invite.
