Watched the game, nice win! I don't know why our home games aren't televised anymore

I did not realize this, but one of the administrators let me in on this: We have to pay ESPN to televise our games. I imagine Softball and Baseball will have fewer games televised this season due to the reduction in money available. Do you think the announcers do the broadcast for free? Dream on!

  7. Ragin' Cajuns Volleyball: Louisiana Tops Texas State in Sun Belt Opener

Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Volleyball used its multiple scoring options to its advantage and captured a 3-1 win (25-22, 24-26, 25-20, 26-24) over Texas State in the Sun Belt Conference opener on Friday, September 26 at Strahan Arena in San Marcos, Texas.

Is this another one of the rights UL gave up to Leerfield or the Sunbelt?

With Lafayette being a fiber optic hub, there is no reason UL couldn't stream it's own games and have its own network.

The reason given is easy to overcome, have a dedicated staff go out and sell the games to would be advertisers.
