    Easily.

It all depends on the source of the funds.

Desormeaux had designated a funding pool (I believe $2 mil) to go towards assistants.

The rest of Desormeaux's $750,000.00 comes from another source.

    Geaux Cajuns

Exactly. It’s the source of the money.

BM was making the phone calls, not QW.

My kid looked into that career path while he was still in school. He decided the typical compensation was insuffucient.

I spoke with him at the Crawfish Boil in Houston. He had identified a list of people that support him coming into the job. I'm not suggesting Dr. Maggard didn't make or support his efforts, but I'm suggesting QW wasn't sitting around in his new offices demanding that more money be raised. A new energy compared to the old one.

There is a reason Deggs is having more NIL meetings scheduled. Softball has the same expectations as well. But here is a suggestion, get with Krewe Allons and help organize some events. Move the needle.

Too many “fans” want to be in a big time conference, have the best facilities, best equipment, best scoreboards, huuuuge NIL budgets… but have season tickets to one, maybe two sports, want free parking, cheap beer and on and on.

Bottom line.. stuff costs. Being big time takes tens of millions more than what we have or currently have access to.

Yes sir! Let me correct myself, it's no longer Krewe Allons. I can't recall the new name.
