You Google Krewe Allons, and the second link brought up is from the announcement of the collective in 2023 that has a broken link to their site. The first link is to their Twitter which hasn't been updated since April. The third is to the Facebook which hasn't been updated since May. The fourth link is to the Instagram which hasn't been updated since October of 2024. Zero mentions on any of the socials of a rebranding to something else or new links to give. What are our measurable goals with NIL? Could someone not in the know tell me? How much are we looking to raise for the four sports that draw the most attention: baseball, football, basketball, and softball? I'm sure members of the Diamond Club, Rebounders Club, or Quarterbacks Club might be able to tell me, but could anyone else? Why would people give money to an organization they can't name, don't know who is in charge of, has no visible, measurable goals, and does not appear to be active based on their web presence. Try and redirect your search by just Googling Ragin Cajuns NIL, and you will get the same article from 2023 with a dead link. If you search under fans on the Ragin Cajuns website, you can find the website for Krewe Allons, which mentions nothing of a name change/rebrand. I am far from someone who could move the needle for us financially, but I would be willing to do my part if we could show some semblance of a vision and didn't appear to be completely rudderless. Until then, I'll just keep being one of the "fans" you speak of who supports with season tickets/my attendance and keeps on wishing for brighter days.

If the people in charge want to take the thoughts and prayers approach to addressing how far behind we are, I will return the same energy in my support.
    Great post!!!

This is nothing new in my years being around college athletics and VO knows this has he's been involved with helping me raise money for Football when Hudspeth was coaching was here and he raised money for track before that time.. I bet you didn't know that right? Either way, I've been at it off and on for a number of years. The whole NIL deal is not my favorite subject, and it seems there are major concerns here. I may try and attend another of Coach Deggs presentations to get update on what is going on.
As someone who visits with VO weekly and talks on the phone with him almost daily I am well aware of this.

Collectives are going away. Now, with the revenue sharing schools are controlling the NIL funds & not boosters. Some collectives may still exist but all NIL deals now go through a clearinghouse to get approved. It's been said that over 70% of the previous NIL deals would not have been approved if they were to go through the clearinghouse. If you thought NIL & boosters were ruining college athletics before, just wait until schools start turning their athletic departments over to private equity firms.

That’s what I’ve been doing ever since this NIL stuff started a few years ago. Close to minimal on RCAF membership, but then visit the websites of the various sports and see what they’re fundraising for and give to that. I just can’t get myself into the NIL giving game when it’s a year to year revolving door.

I’d gladly buy a steak dinner for a Jose Torres or Tyree Skipper type, though, who’s been sticking it out and busting their asses for us.
