Thread: Texas Tech Ragin Cajuns

I didn't watch the game but saw the highlight of the winning hit.

Funny how Glasco's biggest win prior to this year was due to a botched intentional walk leading to a hit. That was the 2023 come from behind victory to win the TSAB regional when their pitcher was so uncomfortable that she threw a wild pitch and a couple of strikes to Campbell who singled on one of them.

Canady threw it basically over the plate and the UT player just swung. Have to admit, it was not unsatisfying.

This is why I hate the automatic intentional walk in baseball. Make them throw it! It's a play that you have to execute.

Looking forward, Canady has thrown every pitch since the super-regional. I think TT needed to win that game. Now, do they throw Canady today? Then tomorrow? She's good, but that's almost unheard of in today's game.

Also, if you're a TT pitcher ( Riassetto being one of them) what the heck do you do? Hope Canady gets a bigger deal and splits so you can actually see some time in meaningful game? That has to be rough watching from the bench. Yeah, your team is advancing, but you're not seeing the field at all.

Look for Chloe to portal out. Especially if TT gets the UCLA pitcher.

A&M's Davis Diamond cost $29 million. OU's Love Field cost $48 million. Ole Miss just spent $32 million on their new softball complex. Schools are starting to invest $ in sofbtall.

That was an exciting game. The intentional walk oops was incredible.
Four (sort of) errors by Texas seemed to doom the horns until it didn’t. Old time softball with two great pitchers holding court.

Probably harder in softball to throw inte tional walk than in baseball because of the illegal pitch rule

Not sure why any frontline starter would go to Texas Tech now. Canady has said multiple times she is coming back to Lubbock. Unless the $$ is so much better they’d be willing to sit in the passenger seat for a year.

Sounds great but please don't include the "at Lafayette".

Did you send an email about that article to the author? If not, shut up.
