Seriously let’s look at this team. Fatass at TxTech took the meat of the players and Landry going to Oklahoma. So instead of this “disappointment” or “worse team” how about say sorry to what the coaches and players had to face. There was at one point a freshman starting catcher, 1st baseman, 2nd baseman, Pitcher, sophomore 2nd baseman who moved to SS flawlessly, and a Sophomore right fielder. This team has a great foundation for the future and the coaching did a great job looking at how this YOUNG team showed much improvement towards the end of the season.

As I pointed out. I'm happily surprised they finished above .500 both in conference and overall. Maybe I'm wrong, but, I think if you ask most die hard fans, they would say they are disappointed.

We'll all support the team no matter what. However, it's very clear to most of us what needs to happen for the team to be better next year than they were this year. I for one am crossing my fingers and hoping the changes and additions made are the right ones.

I understand the frustration/hatred I do, I get it. But, in this day and age to say he stole our players really isn’t realistic. None of those players are at UL to begin with, without GG, AND there is no guarantee if he had stayed, that they all would have stayed because of NIL.

I wish things were different, but that is the environment of the game today. The job for coaches at UL is not going to get any easier, unless an alumni or ten become multi-billionaires and go nuts with athletics.
