    We are not losing R1.

My understanding is that we will reach SREB1 by 2028.

As for Tech, I heard (not my best source) they are talking to ULM about dropping down and re-joining the Southland. Sounds fishy.

    Anyone else heard this?
I can picture those _____$ agreeing with ULM to drop and telling ULM you go announce first…

Anyone with access to CSSN or BB&B float that balloon out there.

Just received an email from UL and after the latest evaluation, which takes place every three years, retained Carnegie R1 classification. We did more than $225M in research and awarded 85 doctorates

How does a university become AAU? I believe it is invitational. How did schools like Buffalo, Stoney Brook and S. Florida become AAU?

This exposes my lack of academic prowess but every time I see AAU I still think boys basketball
