UL Softball disrespected? Bulletin Board Material?

I don't think JMU will be in the top 5.

There definitely seemed to be an attempt to rile up a sb fan base for clicks/views. He’s very knowledgeable, works hard but also has a site to grow.

I don’t expect UL to be its usual self this year, but if we finish 4th in the league (if we stay reasonably healthy), I’m sure the coaches will be less than pleased.

The expectation is to finish first. Remember the standard is the standard.

Ordinarily, I would agree. But when you are part of a program that has a tradition of sustained excellence that has stretched across decades, and suddenly you are disrespected at this level before the season begins, it’s easy to use this as a season long bulletin! I like our chances with this leadership! I would start every practice/game with 4th place predictions and it would be posted on every wall and would be mentioned every waking hour of the season what other people thought of us!

If that's what it takes to focus on fundamentals, go for it.

I just feel that when the bulletin board material is not from the team you are facing next... its imact is lost.

Not too surprising. New head coach, ravaged roster due to players portaling out.

Not too unlike Glasco's first year here, though without the theatrics of the outgoing coach and lawsuits.

If the SBC is a one bid league, it will be UL. If we finish 4th it will not be a one bid league. That being said, I agree that we may have to win the conference tournament to get in.

I also agree that the conference will be down this year, but I doubt it will be a one bid league.

How can things like this change, very sad..... how can it be determined before a pitch even thrwon, ridiculous.
