Some massive untruths in this article.

1) Jennifer Stephens sent me a letter yesterday, not this weekend. I have the email time code to prove that. How could they send something this weekend when I didn’t drop the campaign until Monday afternoon?

2) The letter in question is not a cease and desist because I haven’t infringed on their intellectual property. The letter just states I’m not authorized to use any of their I.P. when I’m working with the mascot company. I was never going to use any of their logo when designing the actual suit. I had a lawyer friend of mine to double to check that.

Look if that is the case its totally up to you, but this goes to show how far they will take it. They dont appreciate the time and effort. Sorry!

Makes me wonder if I need to stop doing logos and proposing it because of this! Idk if that is copyright infringement?

I am just trying to find a better way to promote Louisiana for them not for me. I think i might be done with all that.

You are not the first, nor will you be the last. A former friend and RP member that is now deceased received a similar letter 12 years or so back for making hats. I'm sure others have had similar things happen in relationship to UL.

I can totally see how, someone who hasn't been giving UL the time of day for two decades would wake up to this story and think, Ragin' Cajuns was being replaced.

They obviously havent been following the narrative.
