If a player hits the portal before semester ends could they be required to make some sort of partial scholarship repayment and withhold their transfer credits/transcripts if they dont pay. And thus cant transfer. If not, could it be If fine print alluding to such were added to the initial NLI that is signed

Slightly off topic but I really like the Dr Pepper transfer portal commercial. It’s out of control. You can’t let go of your Dr Pepper. QBs are replaceable. LOL

What is Dez's position on players opting to transfer, not getting offers, and returning to team? Does he take them back or once gone, gone for good?

I now think with the scope of this portal and NIL world, Dez should be open to accepting guys back, under certain conditions being met. There are so many moving pieces and this is the new normal, some times we have to change how we feel/think and adjust to the new landscape.

Not fair to guys that decide to stay and compete for a position with UL. He made his choice. Move on.

An interesting take would be to know how his teammates would respond if he was allowed back …
Also, how would this move affect the NIL deal that was in the works. I’d think it would be significantly less than before!

While I can appreciate cutting ties with any particular player, I also think leaving the door open for return sends a a good message to other players.

All that said, I’d let this be a senior class decision. Call your seniors together and let them have input on whether or not someone can come back
