Slightly off topic but I really like the Dr Pepper transfer portal commercial. It’s out of control. You can’t let go of your Dr Pepper. QBs are replaceable. LOL

What is Dez's position on players opting to transfer, not getting offers, and returning to team? Does he take them back or once gone, gone for good?

I now think with the scope of this portal and NIL world, Dez should be open to accepting guys back, under certain conditions being met. There are so many moving pieces and this is the new normal, some times we have to change how we feel/think and adjust to the new landscape.

Not fair to guys that decide to stay and compete for a position with UL. He made his choice. Move on.

An interesting take would be to know how his teammates would respond if he was allowed back …
Also, how would this move affect the NIL deal that was in the works. I’d think it would be significantly less than before!

I would not let them back. Set a precedent now. If you let them come back out of the portal you’ll have half your roster entering every year to test the waters.

TAMU roster turnover is crazy......53 portals leaving program the last 2 years. 31 last year, 22 so far this year. The primary reason I post this.....a good # are within our recruiting footprint in Texas.

Downfall being.....pretty much every Aggie on scholarship is well paid too.
