A D1 school gave Tony a chance with zero coaching experience at all, at 23 and it worked. Texas A&M gave a national championship coach a 100 million and it didn’t work. It will either work or it won’t and there is never a guarantee that any route you take will. Jeff Traylor went from high school to D1 HC with no coordinator experience and is 38-13 at UTSA.

Didn’t say otherwise but he does have head coach experience, which is more than zero. Napier had zero head coaching experience. Gus Malzahn, hughe freeze, Jeff traylor, urban Meyer, Jimmy Johnson, bill Snyder all came from high school.

It’s not about Mike, people were saying the same things about Napier after going 7-7 and how he couldn’t beat app State and how he sucked, and didn’t know what he was doing, that’s why he got fired from Clemson etc. It’s going to be the same thing for the next coach and the next, it’s a broken record.
