The whole point of the argument is that the admin cannot rely solely on the fact that UL plays D1 football at Cajun Field to drive attendance or fan enthusiasm.

They have to focus more attention on the Saturday experience to draw people off the couch.

Bruh. UL isn’t a major college. Two, LL World Series is attended by families, which Louisiana football needs desperately. Proper attendance? Lol. Are you kidding? What’s the proper attendance? Sitting in the stands to watch glorified high school competition while eating a hotdog? No thanks. THATS the problem. Make it a social gathering place AGAIN!!!!

Trade ESPN+ for one solitary quality P5 game and you get more than $2million, plus tv coverage on their network.

With good scheduling and everyone else having TV deals all road games would be viewable.

P5 football is major college football by whatever entity decided to label football as P5 & G5.

P5 football is major college football by whatever entity decided to label football as P5 & G5.
One big reason is the university took the fun out of attending. People were fine with lower talented football without the RCAF money grab. Now, not so much.

The perception of Major College football would crumble in half without the foundation of major universities like Louisiana.
