I think it's a combination of the travel ball generation and no dedicated pitching coach. Pitching used to be taught at the lower levels. Now, it's just throwers pushing the limits of their pitch count weekend after weekend.

Justin is on the other side of the indoor coaching under hand pitching. He obviously knows Robe’s system better than any. Would he not be an option for a baseball pitching coach? Or maybe another option would be or any of Robe’s former pitchers now currently pitching coaches at the collegiate level?

One of his former pitchers was offered, but pay or lack thereof was an issue.
