Couple of things to understand concerning Billboards. This particular board, probably has a standing contract with UL. The back side of it, is a KRVS message. Its also a Lamar board, Lamar owns the board.
Like many of you, I'd like to see these (in whatever size) pop up around the area and on the major roads in Louisiana, especially those coming into the state. Boards are sold on size and showings. Showings=the traffic that passes by each day. 100% showing etc based on the number of drivers using that road. They're also great for branding as well as direction. Too many times I've seen advertisers blow thousands of dollars on boards that are cluttered with junk. That board only has a few seconds to articulate its message....Simple and clean win the day. Which is just what we have with this board and the branding message. Even if the showings and placement occur on I-10, its a win.
Bass has mostly the digital boards...which this would be killer on.
But, its not a win if this is the only board that's used...which makes sense as that location is the gateway into the Athletic Complex.
