Anybody know how many Tech fans are hiding under those blue tarps?

It could be a contest on the Tech campus station, KLPI.

I hope it is Houston. Lots more to do than Shreveport. And thousands of Louisiana alumni in Houston. The Houston chapter alone has about 6000 alums. When we played Rice in the Astrodome super-regional several years ago, Cajun fans easily outnumbered Rice fans.

Texas Bowl ought to know how many tickets UL will sell. If they want to make money, they'll select the Ragin' Cajuns

_ Yep, many Cajun Fans have traveled to watch bowl games, but we also travel to games UL plays in(not only football) much better than most every Louisiana and Belt team!(that includes tech).

We will catch Tech in #of Bowl games and pass you as we have in Most every sport to date. Ruston just does not have the resources Acadiana has and Louisiana is starting to tap into them in a big way. Watch, read, listen and learn the Fire is getting hot in Cajun Country!!! _

I for one would think that at least the I bowl would be fun and the smack talk leading up would be a hoot with USL( oh no there I said it too) than with freakin western Michigan. Bring it on Coon A@@es

Louisiana-Lafayette (SEC) vs. Rutgers (Big East)

The Papajohns Bowl ditched C-USA for the SEC this year, but it will have to settle for Louisiana-Lafayette of the Sun Belt since the SEC doesn’t have enough eligible teams. Rutgers has won five in a row and could still end up in the Meineke Bowl by beating slumping Louisville.

_ If someone hasn't selected Western Michigan (I believe Independence will as soon as they concede Notre Dame and NC State aren't coming) by time for the show, Independence, PJ, Hawaii, Texas and Motor City won't be determined until the lottery later in the day.

If Independence does as I expect after the BCS draw confirms what we know (two from Big XII two from SEC), they will invite La.Tech and WMU.

Once WMU is out of the way the other bowls can proceed. I expect Notre Dame to go to Hawaii, they've got the money to afford it, ESPN can justify sweetening the pot, and no snowballs for their fans to throw, with Notre Dame off the table expect Louisiana to be invited to Texas, NC State to Birmingham and Motor City to select either ASU, San Jose State, or FAU. Unless SJSU or FAU elects to sweeten the pot and throw a wad of money, I expect ASU to be selected. _

What about Northern Illinois ?

beaux, you guys will get your wish and not play the Cajuns. Best of luck with all 10 of W.Michigan's fans that attend. Notre Dame and NC State don't want to sniff the Indy Bowl with Tech being the opponent. Bring the blue tarps, there will be plenty of empty seats!LOL!!!
