2008 Bowl Season Louisiana Snubbed by Indi Bowl

_ I think most Tech fans want to play usl every year, during the regular season. I guess i see a bowl match up as being a match up between teams that have hardly ever played. If we draw y'all in the Indy its gonna be one heck of an atmosphere but given the choice I imagine the usl fans would rather strap it on against someone else in their bowl game as well. I really hope y'all make it, i just hope it isnt against us.

I hope we play you, beat you, and make your head coach/AD say to himself, geez maybe we aren't an as elite as we thought.

And don't say that you wish you would play us every year. Aren't you forgetting that you guys are above playing belt teams?

In all respect ChouCajunDog answer this question for me. Why does La Tech feel like the Sun belt teams are beneath you? Can you give me a legit answer to that question.

Either way the fact that you are coming on our board proves that it would be a great bowl game if we were invited to the Independence bowl.

Don't know if I can sleep....................................Would someone please offer WMU their at large bid so the rest can go down quickly after? I would image it would only take about an hour or so to get all 5 bowls filled in officially. I have so many tabs open on my browser right now it's unreal. Anyone else unable to sleep right now?

I think UL will end up in Texas(Houston)! Due to location of $$$Houston Alumni and people relocated in Houston, and the history of the Cajun Travel Fans!!

I hope the CAJUNS get the I-Bowl bid because, as I understand it, the I-Bowl has a bigger payout (1.1 mil, I believe), and it has ESPN coverage, whereas the Texas Bowl is going to be aired on the NFL Network(!?!). Besides, I REALLY, REALLY want a shot at beating those dirty-@$$ed nechs in a bowl game!!!
