I think he would have said the same thing had Chandler been in for the entire game. The ball comes out of the hands of QB's with different spin rates and for WR's, TE's and RB's that can be difficult to get a read on when seeing the ball coming in with different spin rates and different velocity and different angles. I think people are reading into his comments that he prefers BW over CF, I don't take it that way at all, I think instead what he is saying is that many of the drops early in the season were due to seeing the ball come to the receivers from 2 different QB's. I could be wrong, I have not personally spoken to MJ3, but that is my take on it.
No one is saying MJ3 prefers one QB over the other, rather his comment in the presser solidified the thought that having one QB in the game made it easier on the offense. I agree with your assessment.

When you say all of you that includes about 90% of the games all time winningest coaches. Because he has done things that none of them would have done. I’m going back to day one. Not just the QBs. Maybe he knows better than the Saban’s, and Sweeney’s of the world does not.

Let’s see how much you know about football. Take all the QB’s on the Cajuns roster and all the Qb’s on Alabama’s roster and rank them 1 through 10. Do the same with Clemson. Don’t forget to be honest.

Has nothing to do with this conversation. Not sure your point. Might be your most asinine post in your very long list of asinine post.

You tell me how many times has nick or dabo pulled a QB after he scored touchdowns on the first 2 possessions of a game, in their entire careers.

If that were the overriding factor, there would never ever, ever, ever, ever be a situation where more than one QB gets behind center for any team.
    Not true.

There are many many overriding reasons to justify using two quarterbacks, but the possibility of a delivery detriment should always be taken into account.

    Always taken into account.

    Never ignored.

    Always discussed

Wow! ... and not a good wow.

Makes to opponents defensive job a lot easier.

Do the ranking I asked and you will understand why neither has ever been in that position. Or you can ignore the facts and claim to be the guru that you are not.

Asinine . . . You don’t even know what that means so you should not use the word . . .

Relative rankings between different teams are irrelevant.

The relative competitive levels between quarterbacks on the same team are relavant.

Still, taking that into consideration, history is littered with coaches who signed the #1 available QB in multiple years, yet they did not feel compelled to go to a 2-QB system.

Do what I asked and quit trying to pick it apart. Both of you are scared.
