Would have been dumb to name a starter at the end of spring. The timing was right. Not letting your starter be THE GUY was the wrong move for your team and that obviously showed. I didn’t have a dog in the hunt as to who the starter was going to be. If you listened to James Butler, a former Cajuns receiver, on Scott’s show a couple of weeks ago, he talked about how important it was not only to the receivers but to the locker room to have a GUY at that position.
