Relative rankings between different teams are irrelevant.

The relative competitive levels between quarterbacks on the same team are relavant.

Still, taking that into consideration, history is littered with coaches who signed the #1 available QB in multiple years, yet they did not feel compelled to go to a 2-QB system.

Do what I asked and quit trying to pick it apart. Both of you are scared.

It's your interest, your hinge point, your request.

I told you why I don't think the data is relavant, but I am interested to see your overall conclusion after the data is gathered.

    You do it.

So let me make sure I understand you. You want me to rank the quarterbacks on this years teams (very small sample) to prove that those 2 long time elite coaches have never been in this situation? Yep. I stand by previous statement. Heck the stupidity is even worst than I thought.

The difference is when they have a tight battle they pick a starter in camp and go with him until he proves he doesn’t deserve it. Most of the time the public doesn’t even know how close it was. They handle that situation publicly much different than our rookie coach has. Hopefully he lives and learns. Those guys know how important it is to have one person to be at that position because of the nature of the position and leadership roles that come with it.

I think he would have said the same thing had Chandler been in for the entire game. The ball comes out of the hands of QB's with different spin rates and for WR's, TE's and RB's that can be difficult to get a read on when seeing the ball coming in with different spin rates and different velocity and different angles. I think people are reading into his comments that he prefers BW over CF, I don't take it that way at all, I think instead what he is saying is that many of the drops early in the season were due to seeing the ball come to the receivers from 2 different QB's. I could be wrong, I have not personally spoken to MJ3, but that is my take on it.
You are correct. If you ask the receivers from a pure catchable ball stand point, who's ball they prefer and I can assure you they would say Chandler. Not saying that means they don't like BW. It's just that Ben's ball tends to fly wobbly with nose down at times and CF's ball is always tight with good spin. So I have heard.

I did not care what year you did it. You scared. You don’t even know enough about football to even know why you should be scared to do it.

    Pretty darn funny . . .

At this point why is everyone _____ing? We played 2 QB’s, one got hurt, so the other who gained valuable experience in the previous games he was NOT the starter…now has some experience to do a job and lead the offense. So what, if they split time the first four weeks…we were never going undefeated anyway. Truth be told, either of these QB’s can win bc there is not a glaring difference in one being THAT much better than the other. Maybe we kept the QB race going as long as we did so both kids stay competing. Ill bet the farm if a starter was named in the spring, one would of jumped ship and hit the portal. And its pretty obvious the staff thinks the rest of the QB room isnt quiet where they need to be as a #2 or backup guy. Let the coaches coach i promise they not trying to suck as a football team.

Let the coaches coach i promise they not trying to suck as a football team . . . Novel

You can’t tell this by looking at the posts of many who have taken a shot at it here. Maybe, just maybe they don’t know much about the game of football . . .

"Trusting the process" had Jake Delhomme last on the depth chart at Louisiana, at the Saints, and second string at Carolina.

Credit Stokley and Carolina for pivoting based on what they saw on the field during live game play
