How does a players star/recruiting ranking have anything to do with the rankings to start a season or anything to do with a bcs or any other bowl game.

Until they truly expand the playoff to include everyone it will always be the BCS playoff to me.

No doubt but I don’t think that one star on one player will make a big difference in a pre season coaches poll for an entire teams ranking as the previous poster suggested. They are going to look at o line, skilled guys around that QB and the defense when ranking a team.

Yep. Isn’t he considered the best in the league? Well we got a 3 star out of high school projected as starter. 3 should be better than 2.

We’ve all seen McCall play, the previous poster was saying star rating on the QB would make a difference in a teams ranking before that person has ever started one game.

And if I'm not mistaken, Legendre was a 4 star out of high school. He's now backing up 3 stars.
