And 2,711 of the 6,700 was the LSU game, 669 "education game". 3,430 over the remaining 12 games.

yep take that out and baseball laps their season total during a mid week game

Should tell Broadhead to get back into EK. Long instead of the CD . Maggard could probably afford to stream every baseball game with that amount of money saved.

No doubt softball has more interest than WBB in our community. However I don't know if that is the case in the rest of the SBC. Someone would have to enlighten me on that. The WBB broadcast schedule being mandated by the league may be part of a Title IX issue..

Probably cannot do that. Title IX, equal facilities.

Women's basketball is BRUTAL to watch. Many reasons for that, but it boils down to women playing a man's game.

Is there Women's Football in High School or College? Nope. Is there Women's Baseball in High School or College? Nope, but they play their own game, Softball. Is there Women's Basketball in High School or College? Yep, and it is unwatchable.

Men's basketball is a top 3 sport. Women's basketball is not. I can sit for hours to watch a Softball game or a Track Meet and be enthralled. You can't pay me to watch women's basketball on TV.

MBB is #2 most viewed collegiate sport after college football.

I think that is the same logic that is putting radio and the Advertiser out of business. Don't do what works locally, do what works nationally.

Watched UCONN and NC State's OT the other night by chance. Was decent, would not of paid money. But then the thing that made me puke. The mothership had the HS all star dunk contest. The announcers went ______ over each other when, on a ball lobbed up in front of the rim, a female finger tipped the ball down into the rim on her last attempt. And the "judges" all gave her a "10". Followed by a guy, on his last attempt, caught a bouncing ball and windmilled it in. Once I saw a nine, pop up, I turned it off. Not all things are equal in many ways, including those who judged based on job security.
