I’ll gladly eat my words about Talley. After that homer he was a completely different person than he has been all season. Looked like he did last year. Offense didn’t strike out much which is great for us. Let’s keep down on the walks and K’s today and we should be alright

I’ve noticed that we came out last night and went after a lot of first pitches. I know there’s a prevailing school of thought that says to work a pitcher’s pitch count, but I felt like we did that too much in previous years and ended up with a ton of 0-2 counts and wildly chasing strike 3s. I’d much rather us square a ball up early in the count and let the chips fall where they may.
