It’s the boosters that pay those high salaries. When 70-80k people wanna buy tickets to watch University presidents do their job they will make the money coaches do.

None of those guys you mentioned could keep an NFL job for more than 5 years. Also, because of NCAA rules regarding practice and player contact, they don't even have to work as hard as their NFL counterparts. Lastly, college sports is the only business where an employee makes more than the President/CEO.
    So what’s your solution?

This is the reason it would be possible for a school like UL to become competitive very quickly if they get in a P5 league.

I don't have numbers for the privates, but I would assume this to be the case. However, I would imagine we'll be passing ECU in short order.

The point is to show we are only missing 2 things. A new stadium and an invite.

The rest of our facilities are probably better than every school I listed above.

I'm sure this will be considered when conversations are had.

If Louisiana has a word, those items need to be stressed.

If Tech can get into CUSA by promising a budget ....

Louisiana needs to promise a State of the Art football stadium.

With the recent Softball and Baseball builds, a football build promise carries credibility.
