Its sweet to be flirting with the top 50 as opposed to bottom 10. My how things have changed since Naps and Co arrived.

What happens if Napier is plucked from us in the next year or so? Are we seen as a desirable place, still meh, or coaching graveyard? That determines if the change created by Hud and Napier is sustainable. Thoughts?

The hope is that UNC, South Carolina, NC State and programs near his hometown retain their current staffs for 2 more years at a minimum.

Honestly if he has a great agent he would be positioning himself for the UNC job after Mac Brown cleans it up.

I don't see Napier going anywhere until after the 3030 season, and then, only if he beats a Power 5 team. Messrs. Bear or Boomer can better speak to this, but I think, generally speaking, coaches at this level need four or five consistent years of eight or nine wins, at least, and conference championships or a couple of Power 5 wins.

This year is shaping up to be a great one. Everyone thinks next year will be the year we are truly set up for an incredible year.

That's what we have Maggard for. I'm just gonna enjoy the ride. It wasn't to long since we were looking forward to winter and spring sports by October.

Sorry, but I think the HUD changes got poo pooed by his latter years and it was a start over with Napier. JMO

As has been said repeatedly after the Miss St game - Cajuns can win every remaining game on their schedule. Now, after seeing the continued improvements over the last 4 games, I believe the Cajuns can win every remaining game this year. Will they, we will have to see it play out.
