anyone else struggle with believing that many of these championship rings have a price tag of less than $500 per ncaa regs.... they say cheaper metal, fake stones, etc etc. but if that is the case why can students not buy larger graduation rings with fake stones too at the lower price tag?
also tin foil time....lets say each ring is invoiced at 400 and they buy 100 for 40000 bucks.... but real value was 800 .....meanwhile they are buying ten coaches rings worth 5000 each... how do we know they arent overpaying for the coaches rings and pay 90000 instead of 50000 thus including the extra 400 bucks of each athlete ring price difference.
everyone misses the point as always.... ever heard of impermissable benefits, we might not be able to afford it, but you really think some schools arent giving players more valuable rings i.e. extra money/payments
regardless noone ever explained why the players ring in the picture is upside down
