Just curious, what does largely disinterested look like? I’m not watching the game...are they not running out balls hit? Not enough rahh rahh, should they be chanting and singing in the dugout like the girls to show interest? What does this mean? We are up 4-2, but are playing disinterested?

I disagree, this team has been publicly criticized more than any team I can remember. Not saying they didn’t earn some of that but they have been.

Not by the coaches or school owned media. They have used a nonstop stream of excuses for two years.

I suppose the 4000 empty seats a game do qualify as public criticism.

Well first of all smartass, its 4-2. No, they are not running out balls. They are not doing the little things that it takes to win. It's been a problem for a while with this team. They are very passive at the plate, show very little emotion (good or bad) and overall, have a very nonchalant attitude compared to recent teams.
