If you have pride you keep busting your arse to compete. If you have eligibility left, youre playing your arse off so that if you do get released someone else will want you. Give up and no coach will want you to transfer to their team.

How do you keep a team motivated that has been talked about publicly being pushed out? 90% of this roster knows for a fact they wont be here next year and most know from public perception that they aren’t wanted here. This is what we get when that happens. Lay it all on the line for people that ditched you 2 months ago? Hard to keep that fighting mentality through that

I disagree, this team has been publicly criticized more than any team I can remember. Not saying they didn’t earn some of that but they have been.

It’s not fan blaming, they earned a lot of it. Doesn’t make it not true. They didn’t perform to the standards of this program and know changes are coming. Hard to ignore that.
