I'll tell you this, it would be inappropriate at the diamond and rebounders clubs. Still, if Robe or any coach brought me into their office I'd tell them exactly what I think about the current and past condition of their program. I'd tell Big Fish that he's under scheduled and performed at UL. I'd tell Robe we're not doing a good enough job of getting the best Jim's, and Joes available to high mid majors. Are we a high mid major or not? If not what's he still here for? If we are why are we under recruiting? It can't be both constantly going on.

I’ve expressed my concerns to Robe in the past. Granted, I’ve been a lot more respectful from a standpoint that I would never rudely vent to him or any other coach for that matter. But I would have nothing to hide.

But also, this is a message board where fans can talk and vent. Unless there’s some unnecessary personal attack on a coach, free speech should reign. We aren’t communist around here (or at least I would hope not).

We have but you don't seem to recall that coaches use periodization in training plans. You are saying they are using heavy weight training in season. I can't imagine a versed S & C coach doing that regardless of sport. Someone used the term "maintenance" and that would be a more appropriate plan. Lower weights with moderate to higher sets. This type of training is proven to reduce injuries, not cause them. My question to you was that were you certain they were using heavy routines?

I think he has agreed for awhile. The 1st grade excuses have stopped. So, there's that. Excuses only work for so long. Sooner than later you gotta produce.

I quit listening to Coaches Corner when I heard 4,000 home fans are too intimidating for our players. Bab, nobody is buying that line. You shouldn't be selling it. The BS needs to stop. We're not stupid.
