Some of it is uncalled for and I'll take responsibility for saying some things out of frustration at times. I also am not naive enough to believe that some of his comments aren't jabs at critics either. The building men aspect is great but usually is a byproduct of winning in other programs. College sports have gotten to a point where you can't really build a successful program on problem children. I'd be willing to bet good money all of the top 10 teams in the country have coaches that teach their players how to be men after baseball.
And that’s my frustration, if we were young and doing some of these things it would be one thing but we aren’t young. Majority of guys we are running out there have played a lot of ball. So play some young guys and see what you need to address personnel wise going into next year.
