We may be thinking of last year's OOC game vs. Wright State where he got ejected, and then had to sit out 2 games, including the first one of the Shriners Classic. But, it was an NCAA rule due to him continuing to argue after being ejected.

You may be right, the SBC has authority to determine if the action is suspension worthy or not for OOC games.

You may be right but I swear he got tossed last year or the year before and came back the next day out of conference. And that was out that rule supposedly changed.

I think you are exposed to subsequent game suspension if you bump or make contact with an umpire or if you refuse to leave and continue to argue after getting tossed.

On second thought you may be right. In the past Robe has had to sit for bumping an ump, and for not leaving the field immediately. That may have resulted for him to have to sit a game. A regular ejection might not result in having to sit a game. Regardless, it’s early in the season to get tossed to fire your team up.

And one other thing Jeaux. I still think this team will do alright in conference and probably finish 2nd. We have the talent and it’s the sunbelt. Russo was built to host regionals not American legion games in June, though.
