Jrue is not terrible as a PG. He is just more productive off the ball. And like you said, the SG position is a position of weakness for this team. Frazier is not trustworthy and Moore has been inconsistent ( I like him better at the 3 anyway).

I think when Elfrid was playing earlier, Jrue was averaging about 8 assists as the SG.

He had 9 assists last night. Three were of the "and one" variety that occured within a five minute span. Tough night shooting the ball but he was in foul trouble much of the game. Yes, they are 9 and 2 when he plays. However they are 9 and 1 when he finishes the game. One of the losses came when he was injured in the first half. Note, the Pelicans are planning a "Cajuns" night on Wednesday Dec. 30 against the Nuggets. Some Rebounders members received a note on this yesterday. I will try to share more info if I receive it.

I shouldn’t say terrible. His game is suited to play off the ball as a slasher and perimeter shooter. He is much more effective when he isn’t dominating the on ball time.

Wait so the health of one or two players can have that big of an impact at the NBA level? But at the NCAA level where the disparity of talent from the top to the bottom of a roster may be even greater it’s not fair to mention an injury to Gant or Marquetti with out it being labeled as making excuses?

Look I’m not trying to turn this thread into another Marlin debate but I just couldn’t help but notice the contradiction there.
