You really going to have to help me with that one. Not sure any sport has a balance sheet and even if they did, not sure how that would help.

It's money in and money out and where you going to go to get the difference or what you going to do with the extra (which problem we have not)

That includes conference records in a fairly modest league to say the least.

In the Southland, he's done awesome. He's won one regular season title which I am a fan of and he's gotten to 1 NCAA tournament. He was given a 5 year extension in 2015 after a 4th place finish in conference. Like I said, I don't necessarily hate Marlin but 9 years worth of extensions and being paid at the top of the conference for 1 NCAA tournament and 1 conference title?

Your argument stems from last year's awards and they are justifiable because last year was a great team but my comments go 4-5 years back when our player retention levels are amongst the lowest I've seen and we are void of any major success and we can't beat anybody inside the top 200.
I had actually looked this up earlier on the university website and wanted to post but was distracted. (old age)

Every sport better have an internal balance sheet some people call it a budget.

A balance sheet records assets and liabilities - really has no part in a budget.

A budget attempts to project/limit revenues and expenses.

Confusious say don't look for an accounting job.

MBB, across the board, is a drying revenue stream. The trends are clear and they will continue to point down, especially at the G5 level. If you’re not participating in the NCAA Tourney, you are wasting money, resources and time.

I'm thinking gridiron could put you together a balance sheet that would show a profit in any sport.

    Broad brush.

With MBB there's the potential for shared conference earnings from the NCAA tournament.

There is no near term potential for that in baseball

    And Basketball generates more money.
