It's money in and money out and where you going to go to get the difference or what you going to do with the extra (which problem we have not)

With MBB there's the potential for shared conference earnings from the NCAA tournament.

There is no near term potential for that in baseball

The post was that basketball was the second highest revenue generating sport. That is not correct. Revenue is the amount of money coming in from the sport and has nothing to do with expenses or costs. That part is the revenue eating part.

And Basketball generates more money.

I'm not sure and don't have the numbers but it seems that can't be right. Paid attendance numbers is probably a little more for baseball than basketball. 27 baseball games, 12 basketball. Got to be more revenue in baseball.

Wrong. Look at the financials. Very easy to see.

And in baseball, we have a legit chance at winning big, and have already made a substantial investment in the future of the program, while coaching salaries are around $350k total, as opposed to $700k.

At this point, basketball still brings in more revenue. Neither actually turn a profit, but it’d be interesting to see where the losses stand.
