My bad I thought there was something in there about performances but yeah I believe there is availability tomorrow afternoon.

You have a chance to build on the excitement and interest, have a presser so the Sunday print and electronic media can get stories out (Sid too) to build on a successful Saturday...instead the program drops back to USL form, has no presser, has no Sunday stories, momentum from fan day has gone buhby...and again, I hate to make this comparison, but State U had a first scrimmage too, no press or fans, but a presser afterwards with the O, Glen Guilbeau has a full rundown and take on the scrimmage without even witnessing it...hey when will UL get it? You have to create the attention, interest, desire to make UL football important enough for folks to pay attention and want, want, want, to be a part of the cULture...that my friends was a huge fail!
I don't get why anyone would want to hear a couple minutes of coach speak about a practice. This isn't going to get people excited about the upcoming season. I don't see the problem here.

Here, for those missing the post-scrimmage presser, lemme quench your thirst:

Coach Napier: Well, we're seeing improvement in most phases of the game. Sure, there are some areas that need work, but overall I was pleased with the intensity.

OL looks good. DL looks good. Receivers look good. RB's are solid. Room for improvement in the LB corp but nothing overly concerning. We'll get there. QB's are working hard and progressing with each practice.

We'll be ready for September 1.

I'm not even going to stress this. If Naps feels he needs every bit of advantage to ensure the best season possible, so be it. Maggard hired him to run the program. Not me. Our boys are learning new stuff all way around and distractions are needed.
