I will say it again. 18 (Jalen Williams) is a man among boys. I can not wait to see him play this season. I think he is going to be one of our biggest surprises amongst a very good WR corp. He is going to be hard to guard.

I can understand what he's saying. With limited access there is limited info put out about the team. I miss the position breakdowns in the newspaper showing depth and profiling guys from each position. It would particularly help in this situation since many of us don't know much about a lot of the newer players coming into this season. I understand the coaches point of view as well wanting to limit the number of eyes on the team and scheme but it would help from my perspective to have a little more access. Football is kind of out of sight out of mind for me right now just because there isn't a whole lot to go over with the cajuns.

Hard to tell much from that video except that most highlights were the offense having success. I did see one safety and one pick from the defense. Last season the one scrimmage I attended showed the offense scoring on something like 7 of 10 possessions. That concerned me about the defense at the time and the season showed I had a reason to be concerned.

I went and watched the scrimmage sat, I think we are getting better, compared to last year. OL, DL, WR,RB I think we are good,WR and RB we are deep.OLB are better, ILB need a little work safeties are good they come up a hit, 1st group of corners were good . ANd QBS were good. At times. Overall i was very impressed compared to what i saw last year

How were you able to do so and what time was it. Do you know what time it is next week. Also, the KPEL Facebook page has video of Coach Napier's comment early today. One thing I noticed from comments is that they are making special teams personnel changes, not the kickers. Although he did not say it directly, his comments indicate to me that the Oklahoma transfer may have a slight edge at place kicker. He also said depth at TE is a concern and that some of the depth at RB may allow some of those players to line up there at times. Another point of interest is that both Malone and Mitchell may be cleared to participate in next week's scrimmage. They moved some money around to get some of those coolers the Saints and LSU are using which is helping them deal with heat. He indicated that the first team offense and defense both had success. That tells me those units went against the second team of both squads and I always wonder if too much success by the Ones indicates a lack of depth. One thing I do wish would have been asked were what were the big plays that stood out. I am talking about big runs or big passes by the offense vs sacks and turnovers caused by the defense. If someone in the media is reading this, maybe they can make a point to ask that question following the next scrimmage.

I forgot to mention that he once again refused to say which QB has the lead in that competition. If one performed better than the other in the scrimmage, we do not know.
